About Mrs. Osborn
Mrs. Osborn studied at Covenant College, a small liberal arts school located on top of Lookout Mountain, Georgia. Three years into her time at Covenant she married and moved to Florida, graduating from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2006. She worked towards her teaching certificate in a post-graduate program while teaching 5th grade at a small private school.
She became a full-time stay at home mom when her oldest child was born. In 2010 she began teaching part-time and was first introduced to Classical Education. She studied classical pedagogy and philosophy, becoming convinced of the strengths of this powerful method. In her nine years of being a classical educator she designed a wide range of curricula and mentored new teachers in the classical framework. As a founding faculty member of TCCA, she is proud to bring classical learning to our community for TCCA's third year. Mrs. Osborn believes education should go past the textbook and cultivate lifelong learners.
As the daughter of an Air Force Chaplain who was stationed across the globe, she has difficulty answering the question: “Where are you from?” Ceaseless transition taught her many life lessons, including adaptability and the importance of contributing to her community, as well as instilling in her a love for travel. She is mother to three TCCA scholars. She loves going to the beach, sailing, crafting, and reading.
