“Coach Dave” graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelors of Science in Marketing. He worked for many years in medical sales. He joined the TCCA staff in 2019.
Mr. Sempier started his athletic career in middle school where he competed in Cross Country and Track events. Running an average 4:28 per mile pace. He transitioned to Triathlon and Dualthon after high school. He has competed both Nationally and Internationally as a member of Team USA in both Triathlon and Dualthlon. In 2013 he placed fourth in the World at the Dualthlon World Championships.
He grew up in New Jersey but relocated to Florida in 2015 to help care for his mother (Alzheimer’s). He is the father to two TCCA scholars.
Outside of TCCA you can catch Coach Dave running and bike riding around Martin Couty, paddleboarding the Jupiter inlet, and most Sunday mornings playing bass guitar at the Coastal Life Church in Palm City.
Mr. Sempier believes that physical education not only will improve the scholars fitness it will also help improve their self esteem, self discipline and respect for each other.
