My name is Mrs. Sonya Jo Feurer and I’m going to be your teacher at Treasure Coast Classical Academy! I was born and raised in a small Texas town but have also called home to Massachusetts, Colorado and  now Florida.  I’ve been married to Paul  for 17 years.  We have one daughter, Olivia, who is a sophomore at Jensen High. We also have two little dogs named Cloudy and Archie.  

I’ve partnered with scholars and  families for nearly two decades.  I’ve had many roles in a school environment but my love has been early childhood ages: 3 - 9 years old. This will be my fifth year teaching at TCCA and my eighth year as a licensed teacher.  I hold a Bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University and a Master's degree from University of Colorado.  I have a teaching license in prekindergarten / primary education: age 3 through grade 3 plus an ESOL endorsement from both Colorado and Florida. 

 I am extremely excited to be in the classroom with your kindergartener this year. I believe in the philosophy, curriculum and values of TCCA. We are going to do so many fun and engaging learning experiences this year.
